Pokémon Rhapsody follows a girl named Nimbus as she travels to the
new Himinn Region with her father Nero.
Nero is hoping to find a revolutionary discovery in the Region to help make
his thesis so he can become an actual Pokémon Professor!
The Himinn Region is a series of floating islands. This region is full of tranquility
and peace, mainly due to the tradition and ceremony of the Soul Trek that
many of the citizens go on.
What will you discover about yourself and others on this Soul Trek?
What secrets has this region been privy to this whole time
that have made them have this peace?

Beta 1.1 is now out! All of the crashes/bugs have been hashed out, along with some graphical improvements over the other version. I would definitely recommend downloading this version if you already downloaded the previous one!
Hello! I played your game on our YouTube channel. If youre curious here's the link: https://youtu.be/GpXxh1txetE
My thoughts on the game, only playing about an hour.
Bug: In the beginning, when you talk to the professor next to the line of people. Once they move forward and you go into a different scene like the house next door, it'll cause a soft lock. When you come back out, the people are back in their original formation.
+I enjoy that it has story and it lets me play the game. Im not burdened by a lot of conversations.
+Different from the vanilla Pokemon experience.
+The playable character has a personality.
+The status effects being different.
-The wind puzzles are annoying. They are hard to see and just makes the path forward longer without any bonus/secret items. From what I played, I dont remember running into alternate wind paths to be rewarded. And the idea of backtracking makes me sad.
-The cave trial situation could give the player a better warning what they are up against.
a) To be able to backtrack and get more items before the dungeon is too much of a headache. You can technically just use the healing spot at the entrance but that feels... badly designed.
b) If youre going to force the player to backtrack through puzzles, there needs to be more qol unless this game is designed to be more difficult. Like less random battles in the dungeon. Constantly bombarded with them and it just makes it a slower experience. There's no challenge running for the 20th time.
Maybe like a traveling merchant before the cave to make the dungeon process more fun.
Thank you for the opportunity to play this game. Always look forward to what you are making.
Hi, Wolf!
I finished your game and want to give you some feedback. 😄
General thought: A neat concept with a ton of potential.
Positives:
-Great mapping
-The puzzles were very creative
-Replacing status conditions with emotions/feelings is an interesting concept
-Good difficulty (on the easier side since the Swablu in this game is crazy)
Negatives:
-A few bug here and there
Overall a great game which will be awesome once you got time to refine it.
Congrats on submitting something within the deadline! 🎉
