Story Info

You mysteriously find yourself in a forest-based maze of a region you've barely heard of with no recollection of your past besides two voices who seemingly sent you there. With few items in hand, you seek to explore the region of Hibernia to unlock your past, newfound goals and just where you were sent to.

Features

  • 1/128 shiny rate.

  • Very curated & small regional Dex & new PokĆ©mon and forms from the Hibernia region as well!

  • There is a gym-trial equivalent but not quite in a 'traditional' form. Play to find out what I mean!

  • Choose between hard and soft level caps!

  • Revised learn sets through Level Up, TM and Tutor.

  • 95 total TRs (called TMs ingame) currently. More may be added later and are now craftable with early-obtained item too!

  • The player can speed up with :AUX2 (correlating to W by default) & edit move sets in a PokĆ©mon's move summary with :USE (correlating to C, Space, Return by default).

Hi, Hedgehoggers!

I finished your game and want to give you some feedback. šŸ˜„

General thought: A promising demo with a few rough edges

Positives:

-I can see there was a lot of effort put into the intro and title screen

-Those reagionals are top-tier! I especially love the Mankey. Awsome designs.

-Dream Balls replacing normal Pokeballs was a nice touch

-A lot of QoL options like soft and hard caps, speedup, etc.

-The dream world concept is promising

Negatives:

-While the regionals looks great their level up moves are a bit odd. Metal Claw on Litwick is pretty much useless since it is pretty min maxed into being a special attacker.

-The difficulty of the battles was fine, but Whimsicott and Gurdurr so early were weird picks. Especially since Gurdurr was underleveled.

-The maps/locations) aren't very memorable. A cave is very short and the route afterwards is pretty linear.


Overall a great foundation which needs just a bit of polish. I'm sure the game will be great since it isn't restricted by a deadline now. šŸ˜€
